Mr. Bismarck's 30th Birthday

This past weekend was Mr. Bismarck's 30th birthday. I planned a surprise party for him and it went off without a hitch. He didn't suspect a thing. I was sooooooo nervous. I just knew I wasn't going to hold the secret in.

Everyone arrived at Osaka about 6 and we showed up at 6:30. The following two pictures are all we got.
I took the camera and put it in the diaper bag. It has been glued to my side for two months, so I didn't even consider the fact that it and John David were leaving. So when my mom left with the boys, the camera left too.

After we ate, we went to a bar (why not, no kids!!!) We went with another couple that we have known since high school, so it was a lot of fun. We basically just sat at our table, watched the football game, and made fun of people who were acting a fool. We got there at 8:30 and left around 12:30-1:00. Wow, we felt soooo old. It is sad when you walk by the sign that says "We must see your ID" and the bouncer just waves you by. :(

That was pretty much the night. Just goofed off and took it easy.

Sunday, his real day of birth, we got up and I took Mr. Bismarck to breakfast at the Waffle House. Nothing says I love you more than a greasy breakfast surrounded by people with no teeth!

Camera or not...I'm sure you'll always remember how surprised he was for his 30th. That was sweet! I'm trying to enjoy my last 2 years of my twenties!

Sounds like fun! I haven't been to the waffle house in years, but you've got my taste buds flowing for some good greasy breakfast food!
